This is a very good PNR romance with defined MCs. The entertaining and engaging book has drama and is well-written.

I currently only read part one but I cannot put it down. Wow the intensity, the love, the found family dynamic. It has so much and and care even through the despair and destruction of life and greed. The setting is present day New York, New York. It is very well described and detailed. Each character’s characteristics and personality is detailed to the point of feeling like you know them for real. I love Melissa’s writing style. It is so easy to read and the words just flow.

Book 1 is an amazing start to the series. There is action, romance, spicy all wrapped up in twenty chapters. Did I mention the spice, hmmm… there is plenty of it. You might even need a few breaks in between the scenes. Book 1 does leave you in a cliffhanger but it is a doable cliff hanger. All three books are available so you obviously do not have to wait long to start the next.

I recommend to all who love supernatural and romance that are 18+.

Totally enjoyed this book. For a paranormal read and first book in series it is a fantastic read. You have a little bit of steam and plenty of action. A must read.

From start to finish this book sucks you in, I wish I could help find Alexander/Zachariah, he needs a good butt kicking. I love how you know a war is going on but it's more like in the background so you can really get to know the characters. I'm not going to lie I was hoping that Dani , Greg, and Luke would have like a RH why choose but overall was very happy with this book.. on to book 2
